LIP NEUTRALIZATION
Lip Neutralization (Dark Lip Neutralization) is a specialized cosmetic tattoo designed to shift the overall tone of the lips. We use custom shade planning and colour theory to create a gradual, visible shift over time, tailored to your natural lip tone and target result. Because the change builds in layers, the healed outcome develops session by session rather than all at once. As the lips heal, the colour settles into its final result.

Every appointment is designed to create a gradual, visible tone shift that brings balance to the lips once healed. The finished look stays soft and balanced, not a bold lipstick effect.
A consultation can happen prior to your appointment or during. We assess your starting lip colour and undertones, then use colour theory and the colour wheel to choose pigments that move you toward your target result. Neutralization is built in layers, so follow-up appointments are spaced further apart than standard lip blush to allow the colour to fully settle before we add more. Topical numbing is used throughout, most clients find it manageable, and breaks are always available if sensitivity increases.
Colour can look stronger at first, then changes as healing progresses. Dryness and light flaking are common during healing, and aftercare helps protect how the colour settles. Longevity varies by skin, lifestyle, and aftercare, with gradual fading over time.

Consult & Colour Theory
We assess your starting lip colour and undertones, then use colour theory to choose pigments that move you toward your target healed result.
II.
Mapping and Numbing
We map the lips to bring symmetry to the shape, then apply topical numbing. Comfort and numbing is maintained throughout the appointment.
III.
Layered Neutralization Application
Pigment is carefully placed and built in passes, focusing on a gradual shift instead of immediate intensity. Each layer is planned for how the colour will heal and settle.
IV.
Perfecting Session (+8–12 Weeks)
At your follow-up, we review the healed result and fine-tune your custom pigment blend. We adjust tone, placement, and coverage where needed, then build the next layer to move you closer to your desired result.
