APPOINTMENT PREP (PRE-CARE)
Preparation is an important part of your treatment journey. Following these pre-care guidelines will help ensure the best possible results and a smooth, comfortable experience.
I.
APPOINTMENT PREP
Cosmetic Tattoo
Lip Blush Pre-Care Instructions
- Some medications can affect your results or healing. If you are currently taking any medication, please reach out before your appointment as doctor’s approval may be required.
- If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend taking an antiviral medication (such as Valtrex) prior to your appointment as a precaution. Please consult your doctor for a prescription before your appointment.
- Take note of any social events, holidays, or exercise commitments in the week following your treatment, as some downtime may be needed.
- If you are pregnant, we are unable to perform the treatment. If you are breastfeeding, we strongly advise waiting until you have finished.
- Please ensure any lip filler has fully settled at least 4 to 6 weeks before your appointment.
FOUR WEEKS BEFORE
- Cease use of retinol or any active ingredients near the treatment area at least 4 weeks prior.
TWO WEEKS BEFORE
- Avoid prolonged or direct sun exposure to the lips for 2 weeks before your appointment.
ONE WEEK BEFORE
- Stop taking fish oil or omega supplements at least one week before your appointment.
- Begin gently exfoliating the lips a few days before your appointment. Well hydrated, healthy lips will significantly improve your results. Keep them moisturised leading up to your appointment and avoid arriving with dry or chapped lips.
24 HOURS BEFORE
- Avoid blood-thinning medications such as Advil or ibuprofen in the 24 hours leading up to your appointment.
- Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your treatment.
DAY OF APPOINTMENT
- Skip caffeine and any blood-thinning medications on the morning of your appointment.
- We recommend washing your hair the morning of your visit, as you’ll want to avoid getting the treated area wet during the initial healing period.
- Please arrive with no makeup on or around the lip area.
Powder Brow Pre-Care Instructions
GENERAL
- Some medications can affect your results or healing. If you are currently taking any medication, please reach out before your appointment as doctor’s approval may be required.
- Please ensure any Botox on the forehead and near the brow area has settled at least 2 to 4 weeks before your appointment.
- Take note of any social events, holidays, or exercise commitments in the week following your treatment, as some downtime may be needed.
- We are unable to work over existing tattoos or another artist’s work without prior consultation and approval.
- If you are pregnant, we are unable to perform the treatment. If you are breastfeeding, we strongly advise waiting until you have finished.
FOUR WEEKS BEFORE
- Discontinue use of brow growth serums in the treatment area at least 4 weeks before your appointment.
- No brow lamination or tinting within 4 weeks of your appointment.
- Cease use of retinol or any active ingredients near the treatment area at least 4 weeks prior.
TWO WEEKS BEFORE
- Avoid prolonged or direct sun exposure to the brow area for 2 weeks before your appointment.
ONE WEEK BEFORE
- Stop taking fish oil or omega supplements at least one week before your appointment.
- If you’d like to wax or tidy the brow area beforehand, please ensure this is done no closer than one week to your appointment.
- Begin gently exfoliating the brow area a few days before. Keep the skin clean, healthy and well-moisturised.

- Contact lenses cannot be worn during the procedure or for 2 hours after. Please plan to bring your glasses for the drive home.
II.
APPOINTMENT PREP
Beauty Services
Korean Lash Lift Pre-Care Instructions
GENERAL
- Arrive with clean lashes, free of mascara, makeup and oils.
- Avoid waterproof mascara for 48 hours before your appointment as it can leave a residue that affects the lift.
- Do not use oil based products or makeup remover around the eye area for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Do not curl your lashes for 24 hours before your appointment.
- Contact lenses cannot be worn during the treatment. Please bring your glasses.
- If you have had lash extensions, please ensure they are fully removed before your appointment.
Brow Lamination Pre-Care Instructions
GENERAL
- Arrive with clean, makeup free brows.
- Avoid applying any creams, oils or moisturiser around the brow area on the day of your appointment.
- Discontinue use of retinol or any active ingredients near the brow area at least one week before your appointment.
- Allow at least 4 weeks of brow growth before your appointment. Avoid waxing or tinting within 4 weeks prior.
